Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo Mural

A new mural has been painted in Manchester to celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo’s homecoming to the Red Devils. The mural was inspired by the likeness of Pat Butcher from the hit television series EastEnders. Despite the likeness, many football fans are not too impressed with the artwork. Although there are some positive comments, some may not be too impressed. The following are some things to keep in mind about the new mural.

The first thing to note is that the portrait is of Ronaldo, not the Manchester United star himself. The painting looks more like a Pat Butcher than a footballer. In fact, many fans have pointed out that the former EastEnders star’s face doesn’t resemble the portrait on the Manchester United wall. However, it’s difficult to say whether the two have anything in common. Regardless, the mural was a fun piece to see.

In Conclusion

Apparently, the original bust of Ronaldo is not an accurate representation of the Real Madrid superstar. The artist sculpted his face crooked. This resulted in a backlash, and the painting was replaced by a more accurate one. The artist said that he was not happy with the first version of the portrait. The painting’s creator, Paul McBride, explained to the MEN magazine why he didn’t include Ronaldo in the original mural.
